I'm so anti.....

So I told you ladies I’d be doing a review on the Miss Jessie products I purchased during the Target Miss Jessie BOGOF sale.  I know I said I would do a video but there’s so many videos on this stuff already so I’ll just keep it here and keep it literary. ORIGINAL POST HERE

So for those of you who don’t follow my blog, I have 4b (I like to call it 4z) natural hair and I wanted to try out the Miss Jessie Line myself to see what the fuss was about on the good and bad side of things.  I purchased the following:

• Miss Jessie Curly Pudding
• Miss Jessie Buttercreme
• Miss Jessie Curly Meringue
• Miss Jessie Super Slip Sudsey Shampoo

I’ll keep in brief. The only thing I didn’t try was the Curly Pudding because I’m a tad confused on how to use it.  Not confused in a since of I don’t know how to use it, but I found that I like the Buttercreme for twist out and moisture purposes and I know most people use the Curly Pudding for twistouts.  I might just use the Buttercreme for moisturizing purposes and the CP for twist outs.  So I’ll review that when I’m done.

Overall MJ is a product fail for me.  The Shampoo left my hair very stripped, there was no slip and it did NOTHING for me. i used it one time so there is a considerable amount left. The Curly Meringue doesn’t work for me either.  It smells very nice but it left LOTS of residue in my hair.  It had me looking like a dandruff farm even though I didn’t have any dandruff.  I’m not saying it won’t work for anyone, but if yo are a 4B Natural, you may not want to bother. To put it in perspective, the Curly Meringue had the same effect as when I put Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie in my hair.  The Buttercreme is great and works wonders!So out of the 3 products I used, 1 worked.

IF ANYONE WANTS TO PURCHASE THE SHAMPOO AND MERINGUE FROM ME, I’M WILLING TO LET THEM GO. $10 FOR THE SHAMPOO (only used once) AND $12 FOR THE CURLY MERINGUE (there’s a good amount left).  Also if you have any questions or stories, hit my ask box and hit that follow!  Until next time!!!
